Mira Illam

Mira Illam stands as one of our most prestigious projects, deeply rooted in the essence of traditional Chettinad architecture while seamlessly adapting to modern living standards. Inspired by the client’s childhood home, the design is a thoughtful recreation that carries forward memories, culture, and a strong sense of belonging.

Crafted with authenticity at its core, the home extensively uses natural materials, wooden and stone pillars, handmade Athangudi tiles, Tandur flooring, lime plaster, and a roof constructed with earthen pot filler slabs. Nearly 90% of the construction embraces eco-friendly materials, further complemented by a biogas system integrated for sustainable cooking.

The design emphasizes daylight and natural ventilation, with a central courtyard acting as the heart of the home. Carefully optimized window placements ensure effective cross-ventilation and abundant sunlight throughout the spaces.
